Hilary Biller Talks to Justice Kamanga about Tastes of Africa

Malawian chef Justice Kamanga has recently published a real treat; Tastes of Africa, which celebrates the plenitude of the continent’s flavours. Foodie Hilary Biller met with Kamanga to discuss the book – and provides a recipe for J’S Spiced Fruit Chutney from the book.
Tastes of Africa has just been published to coincide with the World Cup. Do you think football fans are going to be buying cookbooks?
Yes, definitely. I think the book would be the perfect thing to take home because of the beautiful visuals of African cuisine and interesting information. They can recreate the delicious dishes of Africa for friends and family back home.
