Michael le Grange Describes Photographing Jane-Anne Hobbs’ Dishes for Scrumptious

The photographer of Jane-Anne Hobbs’ Scrumptious Food for Family and Friends, Michael le Grange, shares his experience of working on the book, and how he earned the nickname “Dicky Lovepants”.

It is almost like seeing a photograph that you have taken, printed and then finally, framed. There is something tremendously and hugely satisfying and wholesome about the experience that brings it into reality and completion. I suppose almost like giving birth to a perfect child, not on the same level but surely the same sort of circular effect of creation, or at least being part there of.
